These are the operating terms for the Selfra waitlist and pre-launch website. When the product ships, we will publish updated terms specific to the device and service, and we will email you before they take effect.

Summary

We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with insurers, employers, or advertisers. We use your email to tell you about Selfra. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will, within 30 days.

1. Information we collect

  • Email address (when you join the waitlist).
  • Optional motivation responses (multi-select).
  • Optional country of residence.
  • Optional response about your relationship with tracking.
  • IP address (for spam prevention and country detection).
  • Browser type and device type (analytics).
  • Pages viewed and time on page (analytics).

2. Information we do not collect

  • Your real name, unless you give it to us.
  • Your address.
  • Payment information. No payment is collected pre-launch.
  • Any biometric data.
  • Any video or image data. The product is not yet shipping.

3. How we use your information

  • Send you product updates and launch announcements, only if you opted in.
  • Understand demand and prioritize features.
  • Respond to your inquiries.
  • Improve the website.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Consent for marketing communications. Legitimate interest for analytics. Contract performance for waitlist management.

5. Data retention

We keep your email until you ask us to delete it. We keep analytics data for 26 months. We delete your data within 30 days of receiving a deletion request.

6. Your rights

  • Right to access (request a copy of your data).
  • Right to deletion (we will delete within 30 days).
  • Right to correction.
  • Right to portability (export your data).
  • Right to withdraw consent.
  • Right to object to processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Third-party services

We use:

  • Lovable Cloud (hosting and database).
  • Resend or similar (email delivery, when applicable).
  • Plausible or Fathom (privacy-respecting analytics).

No advertising trackers. No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixel.

8. International transfers

Standard contractual clauses for any data leaving the EU or the UK.

9. Children

Selfra is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the site. No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.

11. Changes to this policy

We will notify you by email if we make material changes.
